The Amboseli National Parks is one of Kenya’s most popular parks. The name “Amboseli” comes from a Maasai word meaning “salty dust”, and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, the savannah and woodlands. They can also visit the local Maasai community who live around the park and experience their authentic culture.

3 DAYS,2NIGHT AMBOSELI SAFARI


On the first day,Pick up from Nairobi in the morning and departure for Amboseli to arrive in time for lunch. The park is beautifully situated beneath the foot of Africa’s highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro. Amboseli has Large herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, giraffes, lions, and a variety of other animals and birds all of which are attracted to this park due to its permanent supply of water that filters through the volcanic rock from the melting snow on Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive for lunch and after a short rest proceed for an afternoon game drive until sunset.
On the second day, Rise early for a good view of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit. Have an early morning game drive then return to the lodge for late breakfast. Mid-morning will be spent at leisure and lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon head out for an afternoon game drive and start spotting wild animals. You can also visit a Maasai village (at an additional cost) to learn more about their culture and their ways of life. In the evening return to your lodge.

And on the final day, Early morning game drive at sunrise then return to the camp for late breakfast. Thereafter depart for Nairobi where your safari ends with drop off at your Nairobi Hotel or airport.
